Agreeable Gray With Cherry Cabinets

I still want something fresher so we might go gray.
Agreeable gray in a north facing room. I m beginning to think cherry cabinets are the hardest to find a good paint color for without making the house look dated. Paint colour review of benjamin moore classic gray. And a new grey in my bedroom.
Agreeable gray has that chameleon nature that it will go with just about any floor color or kitchen cabinet color. However even when it does pick up one of the 3 cool undertones it s very passive. Agreeable gray looks more cooler compared to worldly gray. The cabinets are cherry my backsplash is a pale blue glass.
I wanted to tie it all together with a light grey or silvery grey but i don t think the ones with green undertones would work. Took a long time to find a grey that works. The kitchen has white cabinets and we are putting in a light wood looking tile. Agreeable gray is one of those rare colors that goes with most flooring shades.

Sherwin williams mindful gray sw 7016. It works incredibly well with dark hardwood floors most light floors and it s one of the rare paint colors that works with cherry colored hardwoods as well as brown stains that have red undertones. If you want to play it down i was told to go with a yellower undertone but not a bright yellow. Because agreeable gray is a greige it goes with almost anything.
I used agreeable grey in my kitchen next to oak cabinets. Also if you like the red in the cabinets then choose a soft green. Agreeable gray is a greige that does get a wee bit tipsy towards gray to the point that in some rooms particularly north facing rooms it can even cast a bit gray blue. This color will work till i get the courage to paint or restain the cabinets.
Agreeable gray goes with most hardwood floors. Glad to see my color selection was spot on. Agreeable gray has an lrv light reflectance value of 60 meaning it reflects a fair amount of light. I recently purchased tile sight unseen and it is the exact color of the cabinets refrigerator and an antique hutch in the kitchen.
