The large island is a very functional piece of kitchen furniture due to the fact you can move it around if required unlike fixed kitchen islands and it looks great in both modern and country styled kitchens. We love how the natural stone s colors beautiful work with the hammered copper sink and oak kitchen cabinets. The baskets that came with it are thick weave obviously hand made. I was a little unsure since i had only recently painted it black. Awhile back i posted about painting my kitchen island again.
