Usually a pink color in granite is because there is feldspar in the make up of the stone.
The granite vendor would know if there is feldspar in the lennon granite but the installer probably wouldn t know that. It is not just in spots either it is my entire kitchen especially my 4 5 x 10 island. Some granite vanity tops are extremely porous and are covered in microscopic holes pits and cracks. There s also not a lot of variation with this stone because there aren t large pockets of mineral deposits like there are in many other options.
When water seeps into your granite countertop it leaves a dark spot that evaporates in a few minutes and returns to normal. Granite is natural stone and best not painted. The wide variety of granite countertop is available with black gray and even blue or red flecks of stone throughout its surface. Granite colors and patterns can vary a lot and sometimes even contain a stray spot or color.
If indeed it is a natural part of the granite itself which it could be then no. This granite color is primarily white. I have reason to believe that the original fabricator may not be the most up and up business owner but what is confusing is that the same granite is in my laundry room and has no color change over the same period of time. It s magnificence is blazingly obvious in our photo gallery.
